I am a lifestyle photographer based in Bowling Green, KY. I specialize in the use of natural light and scenery to capture an authentic representation of YOU as well as those classic milestones from the excitement of a new baby, to your child's third birthday, your high school graduation, your college graduation, the day you say "I do" and all of those equally special stepping stones in between. 

 

I see life as a marathon, not a sprint from marker to marker. When we take time to pause our race through life and snap some pictures to capture the 'now,' we're allowing ourlselves to relish in the joy of making the most of a moment. Photography to me is about refuling; life has it's challenges but when we stop to smile and remember our favorite times, we're recharged to wake up again tomorrow and make more awesome memories. What can we do today that will cause us to look back and smile tomorrow?

I graduated from the Missouri School of Journalism with a degree in Convergence Photojournalism. Instead of forced smiles and cliche poses, I try to bring out those individual qualities that make you unique, while documenting unexpected moments along the way. 

 

I find that the best photos are captured when everyone feels at ease and is having fun. I tend to take a combination of candid and posed shots. I also enjoy trying new looks with a variety of backgrounds and expressions. Photo shoot locations could be your favorite park, your home, downtown... just about anywhere within a reasonable driving distance! I have a list of recommendations of local spots that are great options for a session, too.
